When can you shower with you baby?

I thought is might be easier to shower with my baby she is five weeks but I am not sure if the shower head would hurt her or not, when do you think it is okay to take a baby in the shower with you?
I am home with her all day by myself and I can't shower until my hubby gets home sothats why I ask I really want to shower earlier but I dont want to leave her alone.

As a SAHM I hear you about showering!! It is hard to do. When my little one was a newborn I would put her in her car seat (her favorite place) or her bouncer/swing and put it in the bathroom and take a super quick shower.
It will get easier. Now that she is 9 mos I put her in her excersaucer and we pay peek a boo while I shower. Nap time is another great time to shower, just take the monitor in the bathroom with you.

I would avoid bringing the baby into the shower, b/c you NEVER KNOW when you could slip, etc.
