My daughter's room has no closet, where can I find...?
I want to make up some kind of closet along her wall, that includes a desk etc. Something like a closet shelving system, but solid wood or at least plywood, NOT pressboard (that stuff is bad for your health). She is 3 now, and still has a crib but we are planning to get her a very cool castle bed from pottery barn kids (but it's very expensive so we have to save up). She also has a plain ol' dresser. Other than that, I need somewhere to put her toys (she has lots and lots of toys!), a lot of her toys are in sets, so I can't put them all in a giant toy box. Her clothes, some to hang up, and a nice desk with drawers or shelves for craft stuff. I can't seem to find something like that and it seems like we might end up getting separate furniture, which might not be as space saving.
Where can I find such a place, and it would be even better if it's a place that would do a consultation in the East Coast area.
IKEA has great furniture for children, especially since it is geared for small spaces and has wardrobes for both children and adult rooms. Their web site www.Ikea.com has everything that is available at their store. Also the website can give you the location of the closet store.
