What could be causing a vaginal odor in a 13yr old?
My daughter said that she is having a problem with vaginal odor even after she gets out of the shower. She said she's been wearing cotton panties & she said there is no itching, burning, inflammation or abnormal discharge. She has informed me that she's been washing her body with shampoo, I'm not sure why she would do that, we all generally use Dove soap. What does this sound like? Just normal teenage hormone stinkiness or a yeast infection?
No, she has not been on any antibiotics or other medicines.

Male or female, there's usually a bit of a wiff down below. She may have a problem, or she may even just be worrying over the normal amount of odour.
Anyway, if there was an infection, she would probably be experiencing rashes, itching, abnormal discharge, or other symptoms, so it's most likely that her teenage hormones are just exaggerating everything. You know, like greasier hair, more sweat, and vaginal odour likewise.
